Those warnings are caused by the uboot environment trying to read external environment setup scripts from the SD card, these scripts aren't present so you get that warning. This feature really was never used and shouldn't of bee... Daniel Vincelette

I am trying to figure out a couple of errors that occur during or right after pre-boot.

Thanks for the reply. I am able to better control them using an external weak pull down circuit on power up, which gives a determinate state (Low) during boot.
