AS 03:13 PM Software Development: RE: Critical Link Kernel integration w/ Angstrom/OpenEmbedded
Mike,
Thanks for the explanation and fast reply as usual. I think you're probably right that the mainline kernel isn't ready for prime-time. I guess the staging branch I found is going to stay in staging for quite some time until TI...

Thank you, Jason. I sent you an e-mail. Tom Thomas Catalino
JA 03:22 AM PCB Development: RE: schematic of MityARM-3359
Hello, Thomas
Could you also send me a copy of your MityARM 335X schematic to me ( PDF version and Altium format), we're very interested in your modules, and a HMI deivce project will be designed based on the modules.

MW 02:55 PM Software Development: RE: Critical Link Kernel integration w/ Angstrom/OpenEmbedded
Hello Ali,
I've been watching TI and other folks working against the mainline kernel with AM335x, and it looks far from stable as compared PSP stuff -- though there is a lot of work going on in this area. This is primarily due to the...

AS 01:19 PM Software Development: RE: Critical Link Kernel integration w/ Angstrom/OpenEmbedded
Hello Mike,
I've been poking around some more with Angstrom 2012.05 and Qt5 on our Beaglebone development systems.
It looks like the arago kernel actually has a v3.2-staging branch for integrating AM33X support into the upstream ke...

MW 08:55 PM Software Development: RE: Creating a small basic system
Hi Keith,
It's quite possible that the images I posted (built from openembedded / Angstrom reference images) don't have ubifs support. I only booted the images via NFS to "smoke-test" them and haven't tried booting them out of FLASH ...

KF 08:41 PM Software Development: RE: Creating a small basic system
Hi Tim and Mike,
Thanks for your help with the filesystems - I grabbed one of the the new small filesystems from the Wiki and attempted to use it from NAND.
I followed the processes in the TI documents, UBIFS Support and AM335x U-Boo...

MW 11:13 AM Software Development: RE: Creating a small basic system
Hi Keith,
I updated the wiki about building a rootfs from scratch with open embedded and posted some files (SDKs and a couple of filesystems) that you might try if you are stuck and can't wait for Timesys to come online.
We haven't...

Keith,
There are a few different ways to go about this...
- We have a smaller base FS I can get you. The catch is that it has not been thoroughly vetted. It should be fine, but it was built with a newer toolchain, etc and it has not ha...

KF 12:20 AM Software Development: Creating a small basic system
Hi I am attempting to create a basic filesystem, that is small enough to fit on the NAND, however the link provided in the Root Filesystem Wiki Page (Installing Open Embedded) goes to a non-existant page. I tried using the ARM9 wiki as a... Keith Fletcher
